Serene is CEO of Pixeltree Inc. and an expert senior software developer capable of building nearly anything the team designs — from complex backend systems to polished, production-ready products. She brings a rigorous eye for quality to everything she builds, ensuring products aren't just functional, but built right from the ground up.

Beyond her technical expertise, Serene is a passionate advocate for Calgary's tech community. Through hackathons and student training programs, she helps empower the next generation of developers, making her a pivotal figure in the city's tech industry.

Lead Product Designer & Manager

Ryan is Pixeltree's lead product designer and manager, guiding projects from initial concept through to delivery. He designs the UX/UI for the team's products and websites, with a sharp eye for detail and a deep commitment to user-centred design that results in interfaces that are both intuitive and beautiful. His leadership keeps projects on track and drives the team toward innovative, polished solutions.

Before tech, Ryan built a career as an award-winning Calgary artist and co-founder of Bee Kingdom, a world-renowned glassblowing collective, before bringing that background into product work in 2021. That artistic foundation still shapes how he approaches digital design today, giving his work a distinct visual sensibility and craftsmanship not many product designers bring to the table.
