ConsultMD

A medical app for physicians to send consultations with specialists for easier, quicker patient care.

THE GOAL
Pixeltree performed a project takeover on an existing product. The goal was to do a complete rebuild with a focus on general physicians consulting with dermatologists. The core feature is GPs creating issues for their patients and then sending the consultation form to select specialists. Specialists review and report back to the GP with a diagnosis and plan. This format means it saves the patient from having to book with the specialist and the specialist can view and report from anywhere they want. This results in patients getting quicker care and physicians have the opportunity to bill for more work.

Taste the City

An food app where you can browse and book curated tastings.

THE GOAL
The goal of Taste the City was to bring our client’s vision to life: an app where users can discover neighborhoods through curated tastings and food tours. She wanted to showcase local restaurants while making it easy for people to book unique culinary experiences. We partnered with her from concept to launch—designing the experience, developing the app, and continuing to support its growth post-launch.

Fixed rate

For projects with a clear scope and well-defined requirements, we offer a fixed estimate. You'll know the total cost upfront, which makes planning and budgeting straightforward with no surprises.

Hourly rate

For projects that are more flexible or still being defined, we use hourly pricing. This approach gives you the freedom to explore and adjust as we go, while only paying for the actual time spent on your project.

Design first, code second.

At Pixeltree, we price out and deliver a complete design package (detailed mockups and prototype) before beginning development, enabling us to provide a more accurate estimate for both development costs and timelines.

  • It depends on the scope, your budget, timeline, and other constraints and considerations. We can work with you to strategize a launch plan with most budgets, beginning with a lean MVP to get you to market quickly and with the least investment, while offering the most valuable feature(s).

  • While it depends on the scope of your project, we can launch apps as early as 8 weeks out from the day we start coding.

  • If you need design, we start with a design phase where our in-house designer creates mockups and a clickable prototype. These assets validate concepts and can be used for testing so refinements can be made before code is written.

    Once the design phase has completed, we move on to development. We begin with the must-have features and work our way down from there. We launch in a staging environment for acceptance testing by our team and for clients.
